Arafat due in Jordan tomorrow

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat is due to visit Jordan tomorrow to hold discussions with Jordan's King Abdullah on the decision of coming May 4 on whether to announce an indepndent Palestinian state.
Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat told the Jordanian newspaper al-Arab al-Youm yesterday that the US administration advised Arafat during his visit to Washington to expand the transitional stage of the Oslo agreement and pledged to work on carrying out the agreements after the Israeli elections.
