Inaugurating Gitex Cairo fair tomorrow

Egyptian Ministers of Public Works and Communications Atef Ebeid and Soliman Metawli are to inaugurate the first session of the Cairo Gitex fair tomorrow in the Cairo International Conference Center at Nasr City lasting through April 5.

This event is considered the first international event for Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (Gitex) Dubai, which is the largest fair for information technology in Middle East and the third-largest fair for information technology in the world.

Major companies are participating in the event with the support of the Egyptian Software Association the Egyptian Society for Computer Companies (ESCC), the Egyptian High Tech Association (EHITA) and the Internet Society of Egypt (ISE). The participants include Microsoft, Compaq, Sakhr, CHS Aptec, ECS and Acer.
