Aden trial: negotiations to convince lawyers to halt boycotting the court
Yemen, Judicial, 4/1/1999

Defense lawyers for the eight British and two Algerian suspects who are being tried in Yemen under charges of terrorism announced on Wednesday that negotiations are underway with the attorney general to put an end to their boycott of the trial. The Yemeni news agency said the trial, which is being carried out in Aden, Southern Yemen will be resumed on April 5.

The defense lawyers withdrew from the last session on March 24 calling to be given the right to meet with the suspects individually.
