Japan grants Tunisia US $150 million loan

The Japanese Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund (OECF) granted Tunisia on Tuesday two loans worth 150 million dinars (as many dollars). The funds will go to co-finance a project for the building of a bridge between the Tunisian cities of Rades and La Goulette bridge (about US $80 million) and a water resources management project in seven governorates (about US $70).
The loan agreement was signed by Tunisia's ambassador to Japan, Salah Hannachi, and chairman of the fund, Kyosuke Shinozawa.
