Gaddafi, Mandela discuss preparations to end Lockerbie case

Libyan President Col. Moammar Gaddafi on Tuesday received a telephone call from President Nelson Mandela of South Africa. During the telephone conversation, the two presidents discussed current preparations to hand over the two Libyan suspects in the Lockerbie incident in order to be tried in Holland. Mandela stressed that things are proceeding smoothly and in accordance with the agreement signed with the UN concerning the Lockerbie issue.
