People's front welcomes European position towards self-determination and Palestinian state

The People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine welcomed the statement of the European Union summit that clearly supported the right of Palestinian people to self-determination, including the choice of an independent state.
Member of Palestinian National Council and the spokesman of the front in Damascus, Maher El-Taher, said that European Union's position is advanced and creates great satisfaction at a time when the US is still standing beside Israel through refusing to acknowledge an independent Palestinian state.
