Iraq, Libya condemns air raids on Yugoslavia
Iraq-Libya-International, Politics, 3/25/1999

Both Iraq and Libya denounced yesterday evening NATO air strikes on Yugoslavia. Iraqi official sources said that Iraq condemns using force against Yugoslavia, saying that these strikes are not related to any international legitimacy.

The sources also asserted that shelling Yugoslavia is an embodiment of the aims of great powers, especially the US, which Iraq accused of the main responsibility for all invasions and massacres in the world.

In Tripoli, Libyan leader Colonel Moammar Gaddafi called for quick action to halt the military moves in urgent telegraphs to South African President Nelson Mandela, the current president of the Non-Aligned Movement; Iranian President Mohammed Khatami, the current leader of the Organization of the Islamic Conference; and Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid.
