Religious relations discussed between Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan

Islamic affairs and al-Awqaf (Islamic Trust) minister in Saudi Arabia Abdullah al-Turki met on Tuesday in Jeddah with his Egyptian counterpart, Muhammad Mahmoud Zaqzouq, and members of the accompanying delegation currently visiting Saudi Arabia to perform al-Haj rituals.

The two ministers discussed relations between the two countries and means of strengthening and developing them in the areas of Islamic work and al-Awqaf.

A similar meeting was also held between the Saudi minister and his Pakistani counterpart, Muhammad Raja Zafar al-Haq, currently visiting Saudi Arabia for al-Haj rituals. They discussed matters pertaining to bilateral cooperation between the two countries in Islamic affairs.

In this context Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir arrived in Jeddah on Wednesday along with members of an accompanying delegation for al-Haj.
