Yemen decides on new measures to combat terrorism
Yemen, Politics, 3/24/1999
The Yemeni government adopted yesterday a series of suppressive measures to maintain peace, security and stability.
Yemen official sources said that during an exceptional meeting chaired by Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the Cabinet decided to take decisive measures to supress and combat all those who would destabilize Yemen.
The Cabinet, moreover, confirmed that there would be no tolerance or forgiveness for any person or group that commits any criminal action.
The Yemeni president has called on the government to bear the responsibility by adopting decisive measures in the security field.
