Confrontation, killing in Somalia

At least 23 persons were killed and another 27 wounded during confrontations that took place on Monday in the Somali city of Bedawa between two warring factions.
AFP quoted the spokesman for al-Rahanwin army for resistance as saying that 10 of its fighters were killed and another 12 wounded, besides 13 supporters of Hussein Muhammad Aideed who were killed in fighting which continued until nightfall on Monday.
