Queen Noor travels to USA

Queen Mother Noor El-Hussein, the widow of the late Jordanian monarch King Hussein Ben Talal, headed to the United States accompanied by her sons Hashem, Raya and Emam to resume the studies to which they were attached last year when their father was undergoing medical treatment in the US.
A formal source said that Queen Noor congratulated Queen Rania at the airport upon being named as Jordan's queen.
The sources added that Queen Noor confirmed her continuous support for King Abdullah, who named his wife as queen of Jordan last Sunday, the 40th day after his father's death.
Jordanian sources said that King Abdullah offered the title of "queen mother" to Queen Mother Noor, his stepmother, as in Britain.
