UAE president confers with Lebanese prime minister

United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan on Monday in Abu Dhabi received Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss. The two sides reviewed Arab and international developments, the continued Israeli attacks against south Lebanon, the Middle East peace process and bilateral relations between the two countries and means of fostering them.

Al-Hoss explained to Sheikh Zayed the political and economic strategies set by his government for development.

Al-Hoss and his companions left Abu Dhabi later in the day.

Upon his arrival in Abu Dhabi on Sunday coming from Doha, Premier al-Hoss met with the UAE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed al-Nahyan and discussed with him bilateral relations, developments in the Lebanese arena and the Middle East peace process.
