Paul the Apostle statue revealed in the old Damascus wall

A bronze statute of Paul the Apostle was unveiled in the shrine of Saint Paul at Kissan gate in the Old Damascus Wall in a ceremony held on Sunday. The ceremony held for the inauguration of the Statute was attended by the governor of the city of Damascus, Patriarch Maximus V Hakim of Antioch and the All the East for the Greek-Orthodox church, Patriarch Zakka I Auwas of Antioch and all the East for the Syriac-Orthodox church, ambassadors of foreign countries accredited in Damascus, the representatives of the Christian communities and other senior officials.
