Bishara to nominate himself for Israeli Cabinet

The Palestinian Democratic National Alliance party on Saturday said that Arab Israeli Knesset member Azmi Bishara intends to nominate himself for the post of prime minister in the forthcoming Israeli general elections which will be held in May. A spokeswoman for the Party said that Bishara gave the starting signal for the party to collect the needed signatures in order to declare his official nomination.
However, Hadash list of the Israeli Communist Party and the United Arab list which represent the Israeli Arabs oppose the nomination of Bishara for this post.
