Chechanian military men trained in Israel

The French Top Urgent news bulletin said on Saturday that some 30 military men from Chechnya are since the beginning of this month follow up training periods in Israel under the supervision of Israeli Army. The bulletin reported that the Israeli supervision also includes driving tanks, the use and maintenance of mortars, artillery and anti-tanks missiles. The bulletin added that the training aims at backing forces of the Chechen President Aslan Maskhadov, who is strongly opposed by his former arms-mate Shamil Basaev.
