Turkish-Syrian relations for the better

Turkish Foreign Minister Ismael Cem has asserted that Syrian-Turkish relations are developing for the better, stressing Turkey's desire to develop its relations with Syria on all levels.
In a statement he made on Saturday to the Egyptian al-Ahram daily, Cem said "We shall shortly discuss with the Syrian officials means of developing economic relations and create joint interests."
He indicated that his country is serious about solving all problems facing the development of its relations with Syria, adding that Arab-Turkish relations have been developing during the recent months.
