Arab foreign ministers meeting had positive atmosphere, seen as progress

Ambassador Wagih Hamdi stated that the meetings of current session for the Arab foreign ministers were dominated by a positive discussion language among the Arab states, which is considered a base for beginning a move toward regaining the Arab solidarity.

Hamdi related this positive language to that the Arab states felt that images of deterioration in the Arab stance should not continue and that "we must work for regaining the Arab solidarity."

He added that Egypt does not save any effort for providing the strong and proper ground for regaining Arab solidarity, clarifying that Iraq started responding to the work of the committee in charge of following up on removing sanctions of Iraq.
