Upgrading Egyptian - Tunisian relations

Tunisia's ambassador in Cairo and permanent Arab League deputy, Youssef El-Mokadem, hailed the distinguished Tunisian - Egyptian relations, noting a sincere desire between Presidents Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali and Hosni Mubarak to cooperate in different domains.
In a private statement to ArabicNews.com on the occasion of Tunisia's celebration of the 43 anniversary of its independence, Tunisian President Bin Ali referred to the outcomes of the works of the seventh session of the high joint Egyptian - Tunisian committee, which concluded is work recently in Tunis.
The committee signed a number of cooperation pacts in response to the desire of the two leaders to strengthen relations, confirm the enhancement of partnership and strengthen bridges of cooperation and integration between the two states.
