Arab forum meets in Damascus

Deliberations of the General secretariat of the Democratic Revolutionary Arab Dialogue of the Marxist, Islamic and National Parties and Forces in the Arab world as well as Arab national unions and organizations wrapped up on Friday.
Former Algerian President and chairman of the Forum Ahmad Bin Bella attended the deliberations.
In a statement issued following the meeting, the general secretariat confirmed their commitment to the Arab identity of Palestine and to Jerusalem as the capital and the holy city to all Arabs, Muslims and Christians and to the Muslims all over the world.
The participants in the forum called for backing Arab national issues in Syria, Lebanon and Palestine. They confirmed the soundness of the Arab coordination policy in countering Israeli challenges.
