Syrian women of the Golan stage sit in

Syrian women in the occupied Golan heights on Friday staged a sit in at the headquarters of the International Red Cross in the occupied town of Majdal Shams. The al-Bayader al-Seyassi magazine which is based in Jerusalem said in its recent issue added that those Syrian women vowed to " continue the struggle until the Golan is fully liberated." The women who participated in the sit in called for allowing the Syrians in the Golan' without exception or discrimination, to visit their families and relatives in their homeland, Syria.

In a statement, the women said that " Israel's prohibition of visits has created psychological crises among families who are still suffering from Israel's 32nd year old hegemonic occupation."
