Arab business council due to meet in May

The Arab Businessmen Council has decided to hold its third session of its annual meetings in the Moroccan city of Rabat during May 19 - 22 under the chairmanship of Hamdy El-Tabaa, the chairman of Arab Businessmen's Council and the head of Jordanian Businessmen's Assembly.

Meanwhile, the deputy chairman of the council, Saeed El-Taweel, told ArabicNews.com that the businessmen are going to discuss during the meeting the promotion of an Arab economy, how to advance the Arab free trade zone, means of upgrading the links between all Arab business assemblies.

He also said that there will be efforts to link with business assemblies in the Euro - Mediterranean region in order to make use of the Barcelona Pact to upgrade economic cooperation between the Arab Mediterranean countries and the European Union countries.
