Egyptian organizes the first market for tourism in February

Egyptian Minister of Tourism Mamdouh El-Beltagi said a tourism and travel market is being organized in Cairo for next February, which will be called the Mediterranean Tourism Market.

This tourism and travel market aims at attracting the sellers and buyers of these services from all over the non European countries of the Mediterranean Sea basin.

El-Beltagi said the organizations task was entrusted to an international specialized company in this field, but he did not reveal the company's name. He added that the OFATA organization, whose membership will include different tourism chambers and travel agents internationally, decided to convene its coming meeting in Cairo in May aiming at preparing for convening the general assembly of OFATA in Egypt in the year 2001, with the participation of no less than 103 countries.
