Mandela takes part with Gaddafi in a people's meeting in Tripoli

A spokesman for South African President Nelson Mandela said on Thursday that Mandela will take part today in a "people's gathering" together with Libyan President Moammar Gaddafi following talks between the two presidents which dealt with developments concerning Lockerbie incident.
President Mandela had a special consent from the UN to head directly in the plane to Libya which is under air embargo, according to the spokesman.
