Israeli forces demolish three houses in Arnoun

Lebanon has lodged an urgent complaint with the April Understanding Monitoring Committee after the Israeli occupation forces on Thursday demolished three houses in the liberated town of Arnoun.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance attacked the occupation positions and the Israeli-allied militia in Sujoud and Beer Klab and detonated an explosive charge in an patrol on the road of Shaqeif - Arnoun and scored direct hits.

The Lebanese resistance asserted that it will continue its operations against the Israeli forces and that Israel has to withdraw from Lebanon unconditionally.

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery bombarded areas of south Lebanon while the Israeli warplanes were intensively flying in the airspace of the Bekaa to the capital, Beirut, breaking the sound barrier.

On Thursday afternoon, a joint force from Israel and the Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army militia broke into the town of Eble al-Saqqi inside the occupied part of south Lebanon, despite attempts made by the Indian contingent working within UNIFIL to prevent this force from entering the town.

The joint force arrested Lebanese citizen Nassar Youssef Munzir and took him to al-Khiam prison. The Israeli soldiers left the town while firing into the air.

On Thursday night the Israeli artillery positioned in al-Shaqif castle bombarded al-Hamra farm, and the outskirts of Zouter East, Zouter West and the Yahmur plain. The bombardment coincided with intensive machine-gun fire and sorties by Israeli helicopters and jets at low altitudes over al-Nabatieh and al-Tuffah districts. These flights were intercepted by Lebanese Army and resistance anti-aircraft missiles, according to Lebanese security sources.

The sources added that the Israeli shelling also covered the areas of Jabal al-Rafee, al-Zahrani river course, Zalaya valley and the outskirts of Yater, Zibqin, and Jibal al-Botoum and the bombardment resulted in material damage.
