Israeli continues air raids against south Lebanon

Israeli warplanes on Wednesday raided the western Bekaa of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said a formation of Israeli warplanes flew over the western sector and then two warplanes attacked the area located between Zibqin and al-Sheteiyeh towns and fired four missiles.

The Lebanese security sources added that two other Israeli warplanes raided al-Hermeh district located to the west of Yater town also in the western sector and fired another four missiles.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese army and national resistance anti- aircraft defense means opened fire on the Israeli jets which retaliated by deploying thermal balloons.

Earlier in the day, the Israeli occupation forces continued their attacks on areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery positioned in al-Zaffata and Ali al-Taher bombarded on Wednesday al-Zahrani river course, Habboush river, the plantation of Sujoud and al-Rayhan and Aqmata farm.

An Israeli spy plane flew over the areas of south Lebanon to the northern Bekaa district. In retaliation, the Lebanese national resistance on Wednesday attacked an Israeli patrol at the occupation position in Kassaret al-Aroush in the occupied part of south Lebanon.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said its men achieved direct hits.

Earlier, the Lebanese resistance attacked the occupation positions in Sujoud and Beer Klab, using machine guns and rockets. In a statement the Lebanese resistance said precise and accurate hits were achieved on the two positions' fortifications.
