U.S-British shelling continues against Iraq
Iraq-USA, Politics, 3/16/1999

Despite the US - British air strikes launched against Iraq that have lasted for three months, joint air strikes are still continuing against the sites of Iraq's anti-aircraft missiles almost daily.

Iraq said that a citizen was hit and injured in the shelling yesterday.

A high-ranking source in the Iraqi Air Force announced that Kuwaiti and Saudi airspace were the launch sites for 24 air raids against Iraqi anti-aircraft sites.

The source confirmed that similar jets have shelled sites near Mosul, 420 km north of Baghdad, saying that these jets belong to the Kurdish airspace.
