Khartoum, Garang to hold new discussions

The new round of peace talks between the Sudanese government and the Sudanese People's Liberation Army chaired by John Garang is to be held in Nairobi on April 25.
SPLA spokesman Osama Yasser said that members of the army met with the Sudanese minister of state for foreign affairs, Bishop Gierial Rorieg, who visited Nairobi. He added that the SPLA has a strategy.
Meanwhile, the deputy secretary general of the Sudanese Democratic Unionist opposition party, Sayed Ahmed El-Hussien, stressed that the opposition works internally, confirming the commitment between all the opposition to the decisions of Democratic National Alliance, which comprises the Sudanese opposition factions.
