Egyptian - Jordanian - Palestinian summit soon
Palestine-Regional, Politics, 3/13/1999

ArabicNews.com learned that there is an intention to convene an Egyptian - Jordanian - Palestinian summit on the margin of the Arab foreign ministers' meeting this week in order to unite efforts to support the Palestinian stance and pave the way for the visit of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat to the United States and his meeting with US President Bill Clinton on March 23.

Jordanian Minister of Information Naser El-Louzi said that Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa, Jordanian Foreign Minister Abd al-Ilah al-Khatib and chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat will discuss means of advancing the peace process.

He said the Jordanian and Palestinian sides agreed that Jordan would call for convening a three-way meeting on the foreign minister level to be ready to unite efforts to support the Palestinian stance.
