Moroccan-Iranian legislative cooperation examined

Ways to enhance Moroccan-Iranian cooperation in legislative fields topped talks held in Rabat on Friday between speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives (lower house), Abdelouahed Radi, and vice-speaker of the Iranian Shoura Council, Hassan Rouhani.
The two men discussed issues related to joint Islamic action and the project to set up an Islamic parliamentary union.
Radi stressed Morocco's determination to spare no effort to contribute to the creation of the projected union.
The Iranian vice-speaker conferred the same day with Morocco's foreign affairs and cooperation minister, Abdellatif Filali, on questions pertaining to bilateral relations, the Arab and Islamic world.
Iran is currently holding the rotating chairmanship of the Islamic Summit.
