$1.3 billion in Egyptian - Italian commercial exchange

The Italian ambassador at Cairo, Fransisco Londi, told ArabicNews.com today that his country forms Egypt's third-largest commercial partner and that commercial exchange between the two countries reached nearly $1.3 billion as 7.3% of Italian exports head to Egypt.
He said that Egyptian imports to Italy occupy the second position, constituting 11% of Italy's imports.
He added that Italy's exports to Egypt are focused on production requirements and contribute to developing Egyptian industry, as Italy invests in Egypt in the field of fabrics, iron and tires, providing its experience in developing Egyptian medium and small industries.
