Free trade agreement to start between Egypt and Tunisia

Implementation of the free trade agreement between Egypt and Tunisia is to start next week, after the exchange of special documents between the two states.
Egyptian Minister of Trade and Supply Ahmed Goweili stated that, at the beginning of implementation, 120 goods will be exempted from custom fees.
Goweili added that joint committees were formed to deal with product country-of-origin issues and standard specifications in both countries to facilitate bilateral commercial exchange in reaching an Arab unified standard specification to start implementing the agreement for the Arab free trade zone.
