Israeli -Jordanian water committee meets next week

The Jordanian-Israeli joint technical committee on water resumes its meeting next week in Israel in the context of Wadi Araba agreement. The Jordanian daily al-Dustour said on Thursday that the committee will discuss several joint projects due to be established in the Jordan valley region and projects on water desalination.
The committee has held several rounds of talks within the few past weeks, but no agreement has been so far reached on the debated matters.
