Sudan refutes US accusations over terrorism
Sudan, Politics, 3/11/1999

Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismael has stated that the US is mistaken when accusing Sudan of cooperation with or sponsoring terrorism. He called upon the US administration to dispatch an investigation team to Sudan to find out if such claims are correct.

In a statement to the Turkish "Daily News" published in Ankara on Wednesday the Sudanese minister added that the medicinal factory destroyed by the US air strikes in Sudan was a private factory and was not owned by Osama Bin Laden as the US administration claimed.

The Sudanese minister continued that Sudan welcomes sending a delegation from the US administration and congress to investigate facts pertaining to accusations addressed to Sudan, adding that the Sudanese government is ready to accept the results of the investigation.
