Moroccan journalists union opposes normalization with Israel

The Moroccan press union SNPM expressed its opposition to all forms of normalization with Israel, particularly in the fields of culture and information. In a statement, the union also called for the closure of Israel's liaison office in Rabat.
The Arab journalists union had also renewed refusal of all normalization attempts with Israel as long as a fair and comprehensive peace in the region is not reached.
In a statement published last week in Cairo, the Union's secretariat general condemned the acceptance by some Arab journalists of the normalization process under political, professional or cultural pretexts and called for most severe actions against members who violate the Union's official position.
