OIC security team meets in Riyadh

The third meeting for the team of governmental experts in charge of the security and solidarity of the Islamic countries was convened on Sunday in Riyadh at the headquarters of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.

A speech read on behalf of OIC Secretary General Azeddine Laraki stressed that the OIC has exerted relentless efforts to consolidate the conception of stability and good neighborly relations, not to interfere in the internal affairs of countries and to resort to the language of dialogue in dealing with disputes, to try to create zones free from mass-destruction weapons, nuclear and chemical weapons and to try to establish a genuine peace, not only in the Islamic word but in the world as a whole.
