Iranian official discusses Afghan issues with UN envoy

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Mohsin Zada has discussed with the UN Secretary General's representative for Afghan issues, al-Akhbar al-Ibraheimi, developments concerning the Afghan crisis and means of restoring security and stability to Afghanistan.
Al-Ibraheimi reviewed the results of talks he held with the Afghan side and Pakistani officials. Talks also dealt with the forthcoming meeting of conflicting Afghan groups and countries neighboring Afghanistan. Al-Ibraheimi arrived in Tehran on Saturday on a five-day visit.
