Arab food industries to meet next June in Lebanon

The second congress of Arab food industries will be held next June 15-20 in Lebanon, Lebanese economy and trade minister, Nasser Saadi, announced.
The congress will discuss the adaptation of Arab industries to international standards, food security and the future of the industry. It will be followed by an exhibition of Arab food products.
The event is cosponsored by the Lebanon-based UN Economic Commission for West Asia, the Arab chambers of commerce and industry and private foodstuffs firms.
Beirut had hosted last year a similar congress and exhibition.
