Large German business delegation in Cairo on Monday

A German business delegation that includes 38 members representing a group of major German companies will arrive on Monday in Cairo.
Egyptian diplomatic sources said the visit will last four days, during which the delegation will hold discussions with members of the Egyptian industrial union regarding the establishment of a German - Egyptian business council.
The delegation will also attend the inauguration of the Cairo International Exhibition and will participate in the German - Egyptian business day. Additionally, the German delegation will meet with Egyptian Minister of Economy Youssef Butros Ghali, and Minister of Trade Ahmed Goweili, with whom they will hold discussions regarding activating and expanding the range of cooperation.
President Mubarak and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder agreed in discussions on February 24 to establish a joint business council to advance economic cooperation between the two countries.
