Morocco calls for local production of raw materials used in pharmaceutical industry

A Moroccan delegation participating in the third workshop of Arab pharmaceutical industry held in Cairo called for the local production of raw materials used in this industry to reduce dependence on imports.
During the encounter held on the fringes of the Arab health ministers' meeting, the Moroccan delegation also called Arab states to harmonize their laws to consolidate cooperation between them in pharmaceutical industry.
They also presented a paper on Morocco's health insurance system and the government actions to generalize medical coverage.
