Egypt to host third D-8 summit

The member states in the Group of 8 Developing Islamic Countries (D-8) agreed on Egypt to host the group's third summit in 2001. The group's member countries are preparing to ratify a number of projects, such as the creation a small civil plane for multiple uses as: in agricultural lands, "a flying taxi", as well as a international company in this regard. Diplomatic sources in Cairo said the member states would assume coordination in fields of joint trade between the member states as well as projects for rural development to ease the poverty in these countries.
