Philips wins sound and light contract in Abu Simble

The Dutch company Philips Business Communications won a contract for implementing the sound and light contract in Abu Simble temple, worth 20 million pounds. A group of British, American and Swedish companies also presented an offer in addition to Philips, but Philips' offer was chosen.
Engineer Mohammed Farouk, head of Egypt Company for Sound and Light said that this project has been studied for four years before raising it to international companies.
He also said the project will be inaugurated in August and will be financed by the profits of the Egypt Company for Sound and Light, that the project includes 600 seats in its first stage and that the entry ticket price may reach 50 pounds.
