Irish exports to Saudi Arabia worth 1.2 billion riyals in 1998

The volume of Irish exports to Saudi Arabia during 1998 amounted to 1.2 billion riyals in 1988, an increase of 25% from 1997, the weekly news from the Irish embassy in Cairo said.
Irish Minister of State for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Tom Kitt will pay a visit to Riyadh on Friday at the head of the of a large commercial delegation on a five-day visit, during which he will meet with Saudi officials to discuss means of enhancing cooperation between the two countries and activating the Saudi - Irish trade level.
The report added that the delegation will be meeting with Saudi businessmen to establish joint projects between the two countries, especially in the fields of health sponsorship and computer information technology programs.
