Crown prince launches operation to distribute donations to poor

Crown Prince Sidi Mohammed launched on Tuesday in Casablanca an operation to distribute in-kind donations to the poor.
The donations, that include foodstuffs, clothes, blankets and medicines, were collected during a national week-long campaign staged by Morocco last October to promote public awareness on the importance of solidarity with the poor and incite Moroccans to contribute to building a new culture favoring humanitarian actions.
Over $ 8 millions were raised in the week-long national solidarity week for struggle against poverty.
