Bahraini Emir confers with Sudanese, German officials

Emir of Bahrain Sheikh Issa Bin Salman al-Khaleifa on Monday received a verbal message from Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir pertaining to bilateral relations and means of developing cooperation.
The Gulf News Agency said that Sudan's minister of state for roads and communication, Sayed al-Hussein Abdul Karim Saleh, conveyed the message on Monday during his meeting with the Emir in Manama.
Following the meeting, the Sudanese minister said conditions in his country are heading towards stability after the issuance of the permanent constitution, for Sudan which will enhance constitutional conditions in the country. The Sudanese minister added that economic conditions are getting better as the country is preparing to export oil.
Later in the day, the ruler of Bahrain received a German medical team led by the representative of Bremen district, Dr. Christopher Hopinsak, and the chairman of the German medical team, Dr. Hurst al-Brechist, currently visiting Bahrain.
The said German medical delegation took part in the works of the third Bahraini-German medical conference held in Bahrain on February 27 and 28.
