Morocco exports over 173,000 tons of citrus fruits up to January 1999

Morocco exported up to last January 173,493 tons of citrus fruits, against 138,207 tons in the 1997-98 season, it was officially announced in Rabat.
According to the publication of Moroccan exporters of citrus fruits and early vegetables, tomatoes accounted for 18% of this volume, covering all of the quota Morocco is allowed to export during this period.
