Egypt-Tunisia, Politics, 2/27/1999

The meetings of the Egyptian - Tunisian high committee are to begin on Wednesday in Tunis for four days, under the chairmanship of Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzoury and his Tunisian counterpart, Hamed Karoui to discuss upgrading and enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries, especially business relations.

The head of Egyptian - Tunisian council, Abd El-Aleem Nowira, said the Tunisian side has agreed to offer several entry visas to Egyptian businessmen.

Then Nowira confirmed that for the first time joint meeting will be aimed at increasing investments between the two countries, especially as the number of current cross-investment projects does not exceed five projects: three in Egypt and two in Tunis.
