Moroccan and Tunisian parties sign cooperation agreement

Moroccan Istiqlal party (PI) and the Tunisian ruling Democratic Constitutional rally (RCD) signed in Rabat on Wednesday an agreement to coordinate actions in political, social and information fields.
The agreement was signed by Abbas El Fassi, secretary general of the Moroccan party which has six ministers in the current Moroccan coalition government, and peer at the RCD, Salah Bekkadi, who is leading a delegation of his party visiting Morocco.
The agreement calls the two north African parties to develop cooperation formula, mainly between the two parties' papers, youth and women organizations and promote cultural exchange between the two countries.
The RCD delegation conferred with Moroccan home minister, Driss Basri and speaker of the higher chamber of the Moroccan parliament -Chamber of Advisors- Mohamed Jalal Essaid.
