Algeria to privatize 11 hotels

The Algerian government has decided to sell 11 hotels for privatization in light of the government's plan for economic reform.
The Algerian council for privatization released a statement saying there are 26 offers to buy these hotels and their value varies between 80 million and 1.5 billion Algerian dinars ($1.3 million - $24 million).
The list of hotels comprises Sofitel Safir, Albert Premier Saibous, Chatonouf, Grand Hotel, Morgan, Hidab, Shilieh, Tavana, El-Frensan.
The Algerian council stipulated not dismissing or reducing the hotels' labor forces and drafting a schedule for upgrading these establishments.
