Cooperation agreement between Tunisia and World Bank

Christian Dalvo, the regional manager of the World Bank left Tunis yesterday after signing the bank's ninth cooperation agreement with the Tunisian government.
Tunisian diplomatic sources in Cairo today told ArabicNews.com that Dalvo expressed his happiness over the success of the eighth cooperation agreement, which was specified for developing rural areas in southern Tunis at a cost of $187 million, including $72 million in a loan from the World Bank and the rest in non-refundable donations.
The new agreement calls for providing $220 million for Tunisia's rural areas, including $80 million in a loan from the World Bank.
