Five persons injured in centeral Algiers explosion

AFP correspondent in Algiers said that five persons were slightly wounded on Wednesday night when an explosive charge went off in the center of the Algerian capital, Algiers. The correspondent added that the explosion caused confusion and raised fears among passersby and that the explosion took place in Maurice Oden square.
Meanwhle, the Algerian news agency said that societies for the victims of terrorism in Algeria, France, Span and Ireland established on Wednesday in the Algerian capital an International federation for terrorism victims.
